I thought that the video was great and so true in many ways. I did agree that we need to be better consumers of our math. Sometimes, when a consumer only has a limited number of products to purchase, that consumer is stuck with an inferior product.

Maybe “inferior” product was too harsh. It just seems like we go with what we’re given, regardless of it’s validity. I have spoken with other teachers across the district and some from other districts that limit the use of these “mass” products and shoot from the hip, with success. It can be frustrating at times.
